The direct and literal translation in Hebrew means 'In Love', however this work was commissioned as a housewarming gift from a mother to her son who lives in San Francisco, and she meant it as another meaning of the word which is, 'With Love'. Their family has deeply cherished Jewish roots, and so this custom gift was intended as an important reminder about keeping sacred the most important aspect of their beliefs and familial lineage, which is to do everything with love.
